boss dr 600 drum volume problem

hi there, iv just bought a boss br 600, but the kick drum pad and the snare pad are very quiet when you hit them and swamped in reverb, is there an independant volume control to switch the kick and snare up? yeah i know rtfm but its really thick and i want to play now, can anyone help?
