As I cursor through and select GTR presets , I don't hear the sound of the guitar change, however, when I playback the recording, I hear the proper preset. What am I doing wrong, to not hear / monitor what I am recording?

I use Pro Tools 7.1 on a PC with 1.5 gig of RAM,3ghz,500gig HD,500 gig external HD,M-Audio Delta101lt PCI,

Am trying to use BFD2.0 and EastWest Colossus to there best performance..but my PC just dont want to know..i tried loading up the 1gig Fazioli Piano and it just wouldnt load..not enough memory..yes i know how to solve it,But i dont have $4500aus to do that..Mac Pro ..there must be an easier and cheaper less painfull way to do this..Can someone advise me

Boss BR-600 problem is that I am trying to save my first recorded song to my new Compaq Presario laptop in the WAV format. All went well following the instructions from the manual until the screen said "USB Export Idling...." and it has been like that for 1/2 hour now. Whats up with that and what to do about it? Please help. I am a frustrated beginner!
