!!! Welcome to the Guerilla Recording Blog !!!

Todd, you are the administrator, no? You have a great forum here and I hope that my personal feelings being on this blog do not hinder my participation. Your site helped me get up and running with this Boss unit and now it is time to let the medium be in the background and Music take center stage for me, and I hope some folks will listen. My music can't help but be political because I have been subjected to wrongs by our politics. My entire life has been altered by them. And no matter how much more I am able to voice myself on here, this site and the people who posted help for me will always get props no matter where I am. I plan on releasing some pretty good stuff for free online soon but I will not affiliate myself with your site unless you wish for it to be. This music is going to have a Hard Message even though it is not Metal. It is just hard rockin' hard livin' Everyman Music, ya know?

boss br-600

I have a boss br-600 digital recorder, I have stuff from practice sessions some of which is over an hour long. When i try to export from the br-600 to my computer it says card full.  I have a 1gb memory card, which is the maximum size it will take. I understand from the instruction manual that when exporting stereo tracks this uses 10.1 mb per minute in memory.  is there a way around this?

Boss Roland Br-600 export problem

CashCropisKing's picture

I am having problems with my Boss Roland Br-600. It doesn't convert songs or individual tracks to wav files. I have used this in the past and it worked fine, but haven't used the recorder in about year. The USB cord is fine, it can backup files and import my only problem is exporting the files. It goes through the normal process, asking what you want to do (Backup, Import, Export), what type of file (wav or aiff) and then which tracks you wish to convert, but when I hit enter it goes to the next screen (the Progress screen), it stays there for a second or less, makes no progress and then returns to asking what type of file you want. The card isn't full and there are no other problems with the recorder. Any suggestions?

can anybody help?

I bought my boss 600 quite recently and had almost finished my first track. to finish it i was going to create a drum arrangement to put in the track but it didnt work.

i clicked on arrangement and selected the arrangement. i clicked rythm edit and selected step. the first three measures in the song are breaks so i put these as my first step, then when i tried to do my second step's starting measure at three, it didnt let me move it from 2. it goes the same onthe other steps, e.g. step 3 i cant move the starting measure from step 3 and so on.

can anybody help??
