VST Plugin SoftwareSince I've posted a list of VST Plugins, I feel it's my responsibility to also post a list of software that will work with said plugins. Any of this software would be a fine addition to your home studio. So, without further ado, here is a list of some software that will support VST plugins. As usual, I'm sure there are a ton that I've overlooked, if you know of any others please post them here. Steinberg Cubase, Nuendo & WaveLab I've used a few of these and had a lot of fun. Acid, Fruity Loops and n-Track studio being my favorites. Check some of these out, you'll find them useful for any home studio. Please post a comment if you find some software more useful than others.

I’d like to throw in a vote for Tracktion 2 (from Mackie), available by mail order from various online retailers–very elegant interface, robust capabilities, and one license gets you two CPU authorizations (platform agnostic.)
Also, it’s probably worth noting that there are AU wrappers available for VST plugins, allowing them to be used with AU compatible hosts/DAWs–such as GarageBand (for all the Mac-based dabblers out there.)
